Jefferson Keith Langley, of Latin, Native American Indian and Anglo heritage mix, always had the entrepreneurial spirit and leadership mindset since a young age. It began to shine through when he excelled in sports since a young age where he captained numerous sports teams to championships at top club levels and high school. This gave Jefferson an essential foundation for success and achievement while successfully following his passions. He moved to Los Angeles, leaving college early, where he was playing ball and then got a contract to go pro for a Los Angeles based team call LA Italia, which he pays tribute to the elite training at a high level . He played for top teams in Texas recognized around the country like the Dallas Comets, founded by a player from New York Cosmos.

 

He also played with various elite teams/traveling organizations which were nationally recognized clubs where he was mentored by elite coaches like; an assistant coach from the United States under 17 national team, Charlie Kadupski, an Iranian World Cup player; Nasser, and German player in the Bundesliga, Horace. They passed on a deep understanding of the game, strategies, lineup systems, passing systems, triangles, using ball and creating or filling space, finding space, and much more...


After scouts and scholarship offers from division one schools, Jefferson chose a school near his small town and also played in summer programs like Southern Methodist University, nationally ranked division 1 team at the time. He left college early to move to Los Angeles for his  work career opportunities, which took off at the time in the movie and television business. Jefferson began his career in entertainment/media working as an assistant for numerous top people and companies on such projects as; Gatorade, Smashing Pumpkins, OrbitGum, Coors Light, Dave Mathews Band, Quentin Tarantino’s A Band Apart, David Fincher's Propaganda, Sony Pictures, Kaye Films, Emmy award winning Paris Barclay from West Wing & In Treatment hit tv shows, Wayne Isham, Nigel Dick, Kinka Usher, Silver Pictures producers from The Matrix and recognizable films like Starship Troopers, Tales From the Crypt and NBC/Universal series pilot Chang Family Saves the World for Misher Films just to name a few. During those assignments, Jefferson performed a wide variety of on-set or office tasks and skills like coverage, script analysis, story development, as well as hands on production experience taht took him to the next levels.


Jefferson has done a variety of work for top notch clients in entertainment and was commissioned to write/conceptualize a 7-minute action film for a Mercedes Benz worldwide campaign that was directed by well-known commercial and feature director Antony Hoffman, whom is represented by ICM Partners. Jefferson’s last feature film, he developed, packaged, raised financing and produced titled, “Not Forgotten,” starring Simon Baker, Paz Vega and Claire Forlani, was released in theaters in 2011 by Anchor Bay/ Overture Films and was an official selection of the Slamdance Film Festival in Park City during SUndance and screened at the Toronto Film Festival. His duties were developing the script, sitting in on writers meetings, giving notes, and raising money from an investor from Wall Street.


Jefferson’s first feature film titled, “Random Acts of Violence,” he wrote, directed and produced; performing all aspects from shooting schedules to call sheets and negotiating deals with vendors along with the other basic duties that went with leading the film to completion. Random Acts of Violence is an urban cutting-edge thriller about a naive young man new to Los Angeles that gets caught up in a rich hip crew with a taste for trouble and blind morality, leaving him in the cross hairs of the blood thirsty Russian Mafia from Glendale. It received acclaim by sold out audiences at two top festivals Dances with Films and Slamdunk Film Festival in Park City. Critics and audiences described the film as “sensationally daring and bold film making, pushing the envelope with a raw youthful Oliver Stone flare and gritty punch of Tarantino.”

From the success of the film, Jefferson was signed by John Sheinberg’s management/production firm The Bubble Factory, where he developed numerous projects with the company.Other projects that received acclaim and notoriety were a music video for worldwide electronic music artist The Crystal Method, “Bad Stone” which caught the eyes of top execs at MTV as an up and coming music video director. He was selected to be the co-star contestant for a reality pilot show called Home Grown Videos designed to discover top new talent in the music video field and have them go head to head where the audience would choose the winner. The winner would shoot a top music artist’s video of their new single.


Another project he produced was a short film titled, The Great Upside Down, starring Ethan Embry (Empire Records, Eagle Eye) and was written and directed Brian Klugman (co-writer/co- director of The Words starring Bradley Cooper and TRON). The short film was an official selection of The Japanese Film Festival. Jefferson was also part of the team that co-founded a boutique production and finance company with an investor from Silicone Valley where he was leading the company as President of Development and Production for over two years, handling day to day operations, business affairs, strategies to diversify the company portfolio, optioning material, negotiating deals, leading writer meetings, while managing, developing and raising funds for the slate of projects. He was hired by a film wealthy financier from NYC, owner of a media and large land developing company, to consult and write a full bible/treatment for a fantasy thriller about the Greek god Apollo living in modern times.


Another assignment Jefferson was hired to consult and write was a treatment titled, The Land of Fruits and Nuts, for Breakthrough Films with a first look deal with Drew Barrymore’s company Flower Films. He also consulted and re-wrote the mind-bending epic thriller The Legend of David, a modern supernatural take on King David’s biblical journey for a film financier out of Washington.


This led to Jefferson expanding his reach and becoming a top consultant across all industries and projects. Some of his consulting clients to date consist of top financiers, producers, writers as well as other entrepreneurs and companies like the founder of a jewelry line with a celebrity clientele being sold in top boutiques and partnered with Gwyneth Paltrow, developing into a global brand.


He also worked with a top political aide that worked for John Kerry, the Obama Administration as well as a current foreign ambassador to the Bahamas, a former counter-intelligence officer of the Department of Defense and Joint Chiefs of Staff, a successful Texas entrepreneur developing and building a new venture aligned with the oil and gas industry technology and top executives as well as creative at movie studios like FOX. Jefferson’s unique cutting edge techniques, approach and innovative applications continue to garner rave reviews from his colleagues and clients through their referrals and recommendations as well bring new hope to assist his clients in achieving their true passions.


Before that, Jefferson worked on an energy drink to help structure, develop raise money and bring a top famous NBA player to invest and lend his image to the drink, in which Jefferson also co-owns part equity in the drink to keep help moving it tot eh shelves nationwide.  He advised and consulted the co-founder of a unique brand based in Southern California called TAO Body Shop Gym and Spa in a clear goal strategy, logo, identity and grass roots marketing structure to help turn it into a flourishing business. He also applied his media skills and combined with his consulting with a music recording artist where he photographed and designed the overall promotional materials for events and next album cover who ended up getting Warner Brothers records to sign her.

Over the years, Jefferson also partnered with other entrepreneur types to flip houses in the competitive market of real estate in Los Angeles and now Orange County. He did deals with a billionaire home developer from New York named Ara Hovnanian, CEO of K HOV incorporated and executive of the year for FORBES MAGAZINE two times. They bought from the CEO of Motown Records Andrew Hurrell, renovated and sold a 6,000 square foot house on Mulholland Drive in the Hollywood Hills as well as some other partners two different houses, one in SIlverlake Hills as well as Beachwood Canyon Hills, all with great success. He has expanded his endeavors to Orange County now as well where the growing market is flourishing and already producing dividends.

Along with all his endeavors, Jefferson still continues his philanthropic work to give back and helping worthy causes, along with his community, by helping PGF, a visionary program established by former gang members from San Diego inner cities to get them off the streets and turn them into pillars of society as well as many other organizations and non-profits.
